Our students had an exciting and educational visit from the McAllen Firefighters on Monday, October 5!
Firefighters taught our students important lessons about fire prevention, fire safety, and what to do in an emergency. Students enjoyed engaging skits and puppet shows designed to make these important safety lessons fun and easy to remember.
Our younger students were especially excited to see familiar friends Elmo and Cookie Monster, while our upper-grade students enjoyed a Pikachu-themed fire safety presentation. Through these entertaining presentations, students learned valuable safety reminders that they can practice at school and at home.
To wrap up the visit, students had the opportunity to take pictures by the fire truck.
A big thank you to the McAllen Firefighters for spending the day with our Unicorns and helping our students learn how to stay safe! 🚒🔥
