On Friday, May 12, 2023, our students PK-5th grade participated in College and Career Expo. Javier Villalobos, McAllen Mayor, opened the expo with meeting with 5th graders. Mayor Villalobos discussed the importance of three core values to make dreams come true: respect, focused work ethic and being open-minded. The goal of our College and Career Expo is to motivate our students to have a vision of how they will fit into the world of work. We thank Mayor Villalobos and the 2022-23 College and Career Presenters for their time and energy to visit with our Garza Unicorns. Enjoy the slides. 💙🦄🙌🏻🎉
